Glass Temple

Koottamunu Glass Temple was created to honor the famous Jain saint Parshawanatha Swami. Situated 22 km from Kalpetta on the hill side Vellarimala, devotees come here to pay their respect and meditate. The interior of the temple is quite tantalizing decorated with mirrors reflecting the image of the idols inside the main temple. A perfect getaway from all the usual sightseeing in Wayanad, this temple is located in the hills of Vellarimala. The Glass temple truly showcase its name since it is filled with thousands of Glass mirrors, and is perfect for an awe-inspiring experience.

Pallikkunnu Church

At a distance of 10 km from Kalpetta and 35 km from Sulthan Bathery, Pallikkunnu Church is a Latin Catholic Church situated at Meenangadi in Wayanad district of Kerala. It is a famous pilgrim center in north Kerala and also one of the popular religious places to visit in Wayanad. The church has a mesmerizing green surroundings and the calmness and serenity of the surroundings coupled with its peculiar architecture adds to its charm. An interesting aspect of this church is that it has several rituals and practices similar to those prevalent in Hindu temples.

Maha Ganapathi Temple

At a distance of 21 km from Kalpetta, Sri Maha Ganapathi Temple is a Hindu temple situated at the historic Sulthan Bathery town in Wayanad district of Kerala, India. This is one of the ancient temples in Wayanad and also one of the popular attractions of Sulthan Bathery. Dedicated to Lord Ganesh, Bathery Maha Ganapathi Temple is believed to have been built eight centuries ago. It is commonly believed that Sulthan Bathery was previously known as 'Ganapathyvattom' because of this temple.

Sree Thirunelli Temple

At a distance of 22 km from Mananthavady & 45 km from Kalpetta, Thirunelly Temple is an ancient temple located in a beautiful valley beneath Brahmagiri hill range close to Kerala - Karnataka border (near Kutta). It is one of the most ancient places of pilgrimage in Kerala. The temple is dedicated to Lord Maha Vishnu. Situated at an altitude of about 900 m, the temple is surrounded by mountains and beautiful forests. The name Thirunelli derives from Nelli, the Malayalam word for Indian gooseberry of the Amla tree. According to mythology, once Lord Brahma traversing the world on his hamsa saw an idol of Lord Vishnu set in an Amla tree.
